In accordance with the IAM Constitution and as noted in the attached letter, their monthly per capita tax is increased by using the average of the percentage increase in the Consumer Price Index for Urban Wage Earners and Clerical Workers (CPI-W) as published by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics and the Canadian Consumer Price Index as published by Statistics Canada. The above CPI-W averages calculated during the appropriate measurement period resulted in a 2.65% increase, which is the percentage figure that will be used to calculate the January 2026 annual increase in TCU/IAM’s monthly dues, which is in accordance with delegate action taken during TCU/IAM’s 2022 National Convention.
Therefore, this is to advise that pursuant to the above, effective January 1, 2026, the TCU/IAM monthly dues rate will increase by $2.96 from $115.25 to $118.21. Please note that Locals having Lodge assessments, established and approved by my office, will be added to the $118.21.
