Katrina Coleman

National Vice-President

Katrina Coleman was elected National Vice President of the Transportation Communications Union/IAM by the TCU Executive Council, effective March 1, 2026.

Sister Coleman began her railroad career in 1986 when she was hired as a clerk with Amtrak in Philadelphia. Her long-standing commitment to union advocacy and member representation has been a hallmark of her service to TCU/IAM.

In 2014, Katrina was elected Local Chairperson of TCU/IAM Local 1351, a leadership role she continues to hold, where she represents and supports members at the local level. In 2016, she was appointed Assistant National Representative for TCU/IAM Unit 86, broadening her impact and service beyond her local lodge. Later, Katrina was named National Representative, where she has worked closely with local leadership and national staff to advance member interests, enforce collective bargaining agreements, and support organizing and representation efforts across the union.

With decades of experience within both local and national union leadership, Katrina brings deep institutional knowledge, a strong commitment to grassroots member service, and a tireless dedication to strengthening the voice of TCU/IAM members throughout the railroad industry.
