LOS ANGELES, Dec. 1, 2025 — Nearly a year after organizing their workplace and joining the Transportation Communications Union/IAM (TCU/IAM), Alvand bus drivers are still fighting for their first contract as negotiations with Alvand Transportation Corp. have stalled.
Alvand Transportation Corp., a charter and shuttle transportation company that offers a variety of services, including corporate events, airport transfers, Amtrak bus transfers, and private charters, has refused to engage in meaningful discussions over fair and equitable wage proposals. The company’s refusal to negotiate in good faith undermines the workers’ rights to organize and collectively bargain.
TCU/IAM representatives and drivers are calling on the community, labor allies and supporters to join them in urging Alvand Transportation to return to the bargaining table and negotiate a fair agreement.
