HELP Committee Presents Needed Changes to the Affordable Health Choices Act

Senate Health Education Labor & Pensions (HELP) Committee proposed changes to the Affordable Health Choices Act that would improve the quality of health care and costs currently being discussed. The changes go a long way to help cover the millions of people who work hard every day yet still lack health care.

TCU joins with the AFL-CIO in commending the efforts of Senators Kennedy and Dodd in creating a public health plan that will provide health care to those who need it without raising costs of those who already have good coverage.

We call on the Senate to pass this much needed reform.
