September 3, 2026, Bakersfield, CA – Alvand workers are fighting for a first contract. Alvand Transportation Corp. – a charter and shuttle transportation company – has refused to engage in meaningful discussions on fair and equitable wage proposals.
The workers, TCU/IAM and IAM are calling on the community, labor allies and supporters to join them in urging Alvand Transportation to return to the bargaining table and negotiate a fair agreement.
