TCU President Scardelletti asks All TCU Locals to Donate to the IAM Disaster Relief Fund

From TCU President Bob Scardelletti’s letter to all Local Lodge Officers:
We have all seen the devastating effects of Hurricane Harvey on TV. Thousands of people are suffering injuries, losses of property and the possibilities of displacement, as well as replacing and rebuilding needs. This is affecting us all, because in hundreds of cases they ARE part of the TCU/IAM family, and they need our help.

I am asking that at your next Local Lodge meeting to present a motion to your membership to approve a donation to the IAM’s Disaster Relief Fund. Any amount your Local Lodge can provide will be greatly appreciated and go to our members in need.

I am also asking you to encourage your members to make individual donations, which are tax deductible.

To donate, please go to the following link:

Donations can also be mailed.  All contributions made by check or money order should be made payable to IAM Assistance, 9000 Machinists Place, Upper Marlboro, Maryland 20772.

Thank you in advance for your support. Your donation is greatly appreciated.
