November 4, 2026 – TCU/IAM encourages members to submit public comments to the Surface Transportation Board (STB) on the proposed Union Pacific-Norfolk Southern merger by November 18.
Together with our labor partners at BLET and BMWED, TCU/IAM is collecting comments opposing a merger we believe would weaken the railroad workforce, reduce competition, increase costs and hurt America’s supply chain.
Railroad workers’ voices belong in the public record. Members can visit RailMergerComments.org to submit pre-written comments or share firsthand experiences explaining how the proposed merger could affect their jobs and communities.
