With great sadness, we must relay that Michele Reese has passed away following her recent battle with Cancer. Michele was surrounded by family when she passed away.
Michele was 60 years old and is survived by her husband of nearly 40 years, Russell, four children: Emily, Jackie, Jake and Kevin, 5 grandchildren, and six living siblings.
Michele worked at TCU for 35 years. She was the Director of both the Membership and Auditing & Bonding Departments for many years prior to the IAM merger, when she began to work in the TCU/IAM Industry Relations Department. Michele took immense pride in her work, evident by the superior product she put out. Michele was responsible for the success of many cases both on-property and in arbitration, most notably several high-stakes scope and protective cases that resulted in significant payouts for our membership, important arbitral precedent, and preservation of work.
She was a dear friend to many and an invaluable colleague; it has been an absolute gift to have known her and worked with her.
