TCU Reaches Tentative Agreement with CSX Intermodal Terminals, Inc.

TCU recently reached a Tentative Agreement (TA) with CSX Intermodal Terminals, Inc.  This agreement will be going out for ratification by the members working at CSX Intermodal next week.

The TA largely followed the pattern of PEB 250 – 22% General wage increases (24% compounded) over the life of the agreement as well as $5,000 in bonus recognition payments.  In addition to the historic GWI’s this TA also provides increases to hourly premiums, work rule improvements, adds Juneteenth as an additional holiday and addresses a number of pay disparities that currently exist.

“This is an outstanding agreement and it has been a long time coming.  These members deserve significant pay increases and this TA does just that.  This agreement reflects the hard work of the bargaining committee and the TCU/IAM legislative department who were instrumental in getting our voices heard before the Surface Transportation Board.  I am proud to recommend that our members support this TA”. Said TCU National President Artie Maratea.

Voting instructions will be mailed out to members early next week and voting will begin October 11 and will conclude at 5:00pm (EST) October 26.
